“The Savoy is often overlooked when deciding where to go to the cinema, as it's out of the city centre, and has no parking, unlike the other major cinemas in Nottingham, however, since the Odean's demise, it's the only one with any character. I went to see an epic film there and they had an interim! The prices are cheaper too, which is a real attraction. ”
Welcome to Savoy Cinema
A much loved independent cinema situated in Worksop, the Savoy screens all the latest releases and makes for the perfect night out or rainy day activity with the kids.
The Savoy runs a number of different competitions and special screenings throughout the week.
As well as offering all the latest films, here at the Savoy, we also offer game console parties! That’s right, for just £80 you could be playing with your friends on the big screen. Bring as many friends as you like and get ready for Playstation or Xbox on the big screen!
For advance bookings and to see films that are currently showing, please visit our website today or call our box office on 01909 490620 for more information.

I love the retro feel of this cinema, especially when you go to see a long film and they sell ice creams during an interval... brilliant! Despite being older, this remains a fantastic little independent cinema in Nottingham. It is cheaper than the big cinemas but has everything to offer.
An independent cinema, it's fairly charming. Small popcorn stand and a great pick and mix range upstairs - ticks all the important boxes for me!! Good size screen and it sometimes shows some classic films you wouldn't get on the big screen elsewhere. Quite charming, and the feeling you are keeping something going that is becoming rare.
The Savoy is a dying breed. With all the big, charmless cinemas opening up its nice to see an independent oldschool place like this still going. The decore and atmosphere is traditional, but they show a variety of new films all the time. It's cheap and with a few cosy double seats is a great place to go with that someone special.
The Savoy Cinema is always a place i've avoided because of it's location and lack of parking. However, last year, i lived nearby and decided to pop along as the prices were loads cheaper than the cornerhouse and showcase. The screen was a decent size, the seats were comfortable and the sound quality is what you expect at the cinema. I have since moved out of town but always check their showtimes before any others.
