A scary clown peers through the window allegedly in Market Rasen

A scary clown has been spotted in Lincolnshire, apparently peering through the window of a home.

The sighting follows a sinister looking figure seen in Retford, dressed in a costume similar to that worn by McDonald's mascot Ronald McDonald.

The figure was attempting to scare members of the public in the town centre and now a second clown has been spotted in Lincolnshire.

A picture posted on social networking site Facebook captures the figure peering through the window.

Then what happens if someone gets scared and takes a baseball bat to him, or runs him over in the street?

A terrifying clown peers through a window in Market Rasen after dark and the occupiers say "hang on a minute mate while we get a camera". Somehow I don't think so. Come on Echo/Thisislincolnshire, it's still only the 19th of November. Nowhere near April 1st yet. Or is Lincolnshire really so boring that this is the best you can come up with for news?
